We asked our customers to share a few tips on how they got started with investing in their first VCS heirloom pieces. Here's what some of them had to say:

• Start with something small you can afford. You can add to it and build over time.
• Combine a few holidays like birthday and Mother's Day and invest in a more substantial piece you know you'll love.
• Ask for gift cards as gifts and save them up to redeem on the piece you love. You can use as many gift cards as you wish.
• Save up for it for a few months (one customer started putting aside a few months of what used to be car payments after she paid off her car).
• Use the option to pay with Affirm (you can split your purchase into 3 or more payments).
